This past Thursday, I got to be a part of an incredible concert called Songs for the Hidden, produced by Sonder Productions. We raised a bunch of money for two incredible organizations, Got Your 6 and the Mount Sinai SAVI program and had a successful auction. I got to meet and share the stage with amazing artists and performers, and sang two pieces that I'd never had the chance to perform in front of an audience. The first, a duet with my dear friend Emmy Carlyle Albritton, called "Always/Goodnight" by Scott Alan, which we both grew to love from a performance sung in concert by Abby and Jessie Mueller. The second, was a beautiful song by Kait Kerrigan/Brian Lowdermilk called "The Girl Who Drove Away", which was such an incredible challenge for me vocally that I got to breathe and live in front of an audience for the very first time. It was an unreal evening filled with so much love, support, and beautiful music. Here are some of my selections from the concert! Enjoy!
